The immense popularity of the PWD brands has led unscrupulous "bathtub" manufacturers to produce poor quality, counterfeit copies of many of them, especially RUSH®, Hardware®, Pop`s®, Ram® and Iron Horse®.

WARNING: Knowingly dealing in counterfeit goods is against the law. But even more importantly, these dirty knock-offs can be dangerous to your heath!

Distinguishing genuine PWD products from counterfeit versions is becoming increasingly difficult. The newest counterfeit labels look very similar to genuine PWD packaging. Be sure to inspect the bottle for the following:

IF THERE`S A PERFORATION, IT`S AN IMITATION!

The easiest way to spot a fake bottle is to look for a perforation on the label, just under the cap. If a perforation is present, it is undoubtedly FAKE!

LABEL WRAPS AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE!

If the label wraps around the bottom of the bottle, it`s FAKE!

Other things to look for when checking the authenticity of a bottle of RUSH® include the following:

PWD logo is embossed on the bottom of every bottle AND on the top of every cap.
Inside every cap is a clear, plastic cone with an embossment that reads, "POLY-SEAL".
"NEVER FAKE IT!" printed across the top front of every label.

The following are dead give-aways that you have a fake on your hands:

PWD logo on the bottom of the bottle, but not the top of the cap.
PWD logo on the top of the cap, but not the bottom of the bottle.
Image of Captain RUSH® is missing from the label.
